“I learned a lot from her death…I learned a lot about myself. [I learned] that life is worth living. Because I’m just fighting against it, fighting against the establishment. She loved fashion, and I love fashion, and I was just in denial.” — About Izzy Blow in an interview for W Magazine with Bridget Foley

SS 2004 was my first show that had me sat on thinking how fortunate I am to be able to participate in an industry that nurtures artists such as McQueen. I always thought that perhaps one day… some day, I would experience a McQueen spectacle from the front row. I’m so deeply saddened that this won’t be the case. I think it’s fair to say we will never see talent like his again.
