Layers&Swathes Trend Report: Are You Fur Real?

The bad news is that this thread is about fur (both real AND faux).
The really bad news is that fur is a major A/W Trend for 2010.
The good news is that faux fur is actually cool this season (if its good enough for Karl…).
The really good news is that I personally would never buy a recently manufactured fur piece (although I’ll put my hands up and admit to donning my grandma’s 40s mink now and again – see, at least I’m honest!).
The other good news is that this may possibly be the longest pictorial thread I have ever completed.

Obviously I would never wear real fur if it had been slain recently but i feel that vintage pieces are ok, especially if they have been passed down in the family. I am a massive animal lover especially of that darn cute wolf pup pictured above.. I wouldn’t want one to die for our vanity however, I wouldnt want them to die in vain either. I am sure if the animal could speak it would say it would much prefer to be worn and stroked then to be dis-guarded in the rubbish. If I were to die. I hope someone makes me into a nice hat.
I’m bad… I am a full advocate of fur and I stand proud!
