Far-Fetch Redesign Launch! (and outing myself with a picture)

June 15, 2011

Occasionally I like to indulge in a bit of Generation Y window shopping. ‘How?’ you may ask. Well, let me explain; I usually go to, put a hefty amount of Chloe, Rick Owens, Haider Ackermann etc in that little metaphorical basket, watch the balance grow to a figure I would have to sell human body parts to afford and then promptly log off when it all gets too much.

To make matters worse, they’ve gone and made their website even prettier and more alluring making it harder to resist.

To celebrate the redesign, we held a breakfast party at Feathers with smoked salmon sandwiches and fresh fruit compote. I’d say when you can’t afford that pair of shoes, eat. Perhaps this is where it all goes wrong for me in the fashion industry…

Needless to say, here are some pics from the day:

Our gorgeous window display designed by the uber-talented Echo Morgan inspired by the new Far-Fetch logo:

and if you haven’t come to visit me in Feathers before, can I possibly entice you with some pretty pictures of the shop?

Is that Jil Sander you see? Yes it is…

Anyone reading this who loves me, the KD2024 necklaces pictured above are a small (early) birthday present hint *wink*

ditto comment goes to the DRKSHDW Rick Owens bleached denim vest to the right…

Last but not least, here is a picture of… MOI! Its my first on the site so be gentle. Oh, and in the morning I was far more layered and swathed but by the time I got off the tube, I was shvitz city…
