So What’s This All About?
Firstly, I’m a stylist before a blogger. That being said, I’m a stylist that doesn’t want to promote mindless consumption but rather one that just wants to ‘decorate’. I am constantly fighting the dichotomy between my love affair for fashion combined with my complete disdain. I’m interested in the original source of a trend so look out for comparative posts and random image threads that are never actually that random. Sometimes I can be lazy and just post pictures of animals that make me laugh. I promise I won’t do that too often though….

It took me about two posts to realize I’d stumbled onto something far more sophisticated than the average fashion blog. I certainly enjoy the blogs with collections of images people just happen to like, but it’s actually thought-provoking to be able to pull out the references, the fashion history, the details on how it was designed and why. Marvelous work, here.

The next time I spend my precious time on a “fashion blog” I hope that it doesn’t disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to come on here, but I truly thought youd have one thing attention-grabbing to say. All I see is a bunch of whining about one thing that you would repair when you weren’t too busy searching for attention.
Sasha, I can’t believe you took your ‘precious time’ to write such a negative comment. I suggest you learn to use your time more wisely from now on. I love this blog, so i advise you to go find another blog to bully. Because, this one my dear, is far too optimistic for your petty pessimism.
Sasha, do you have nothing better to do than browse around voicing your negative opinions on what I think is a fantastically interesting blog. If you knew anything about fashion you’d know the amount of hours and hard work that goes into each post everyday. At least layers&swathes actually discusses what they’d do differently rather than being a typical monotonous blog and saying they love every trend and every outfit they see. You should probably spend your precious time getting some lessons on manners and etiquette.
Lately, I did not give plenty of thought to making comments on blog page posts and have positioned comments even less. Reading via your nice article, will support me to do so sometimes. I find your blog to be insightful and beautifully presented.
